65 More Bands Announced For Download 2018!

We were already excited to head back to Donington in June for Download Festival 2018.

And now we have 65 more bands to look forward to. Which bands stand out for us amongst them?

Black Stone Cherry is one we're definitely excited to see, and it looks as if they'll be taking the sub-headline slot under Saturday night headliners Guns N' Roses. We've always enjoyed their southern-style rock n' roll, with classics such as Lonely Train and Blind Man from their earlier releases. Now, with reports of a new album happening this year, we imagine they'll be showcasing much of the fresher material for the Download audience. Could BSC be a future Download headliner?

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis is a familiar face at Download, and this year he'll be making his first appearance as a solo artist. We're excited to hear what his solo record might sound like! Shinedown and Volbeat will also be stopping off at Donington Park as part of their European tours.

In general, this line-up is beginning to look incredibly varied, with something to keep everyone happy on each of the days so far. It seems as if the so-called 'Classic Rock Sunday' will move to Saturday this year, with arguably the flagship announcement being the return of Guns N' Roses to Donington Park.
